Henry Cavendish have a number of carefully selected teams who train on a regular basis and put their skills into practice in sporting tournaments against one another and other schools in the borough.  Teams and sports vary from year to year according to adults available and skill/interest from children, but some of the past competitions we have participated in are as follows: 

Tag rugby

Netball

Hockey

Quiksticks hockey

Football (Girls and mixed)

Dodgeball

Dulwich and Lambeth swimming galas

Lambeth Cross-country

Henry Cavendish have had some huge successes in these sports, such as representing Lambeth at the School Games Cross-Country and Quiksticks hockey and winning the Lambeth Swimming Gala for 5 years running!  In July 2018 our mixed football team won the prestigious Walcot Cup, bringing home the impressive cup for our overflowing trophy cabinet.
